From September to April, the weather is rather hot in Antananarivo, especially at midday. On the other hand, the morning and the evening are rather fresh. For this period, it is the rainy season and it is good to carry an umbrella or a raincoat especially in the afternoon. The town of Antananarivo is swarming people and we warn you against the pickpockets. But in general, the Malagasy people are very kind and they like to converse with everybody.

From May to September (3rd week), it is the cold season and sometimes the temperature may drop under 10 degree Celsius.
