HIV and AIDS MISSION:
The mission of the MLC is to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people,
in a holistic manner, in cooperation with each MLC department in order to establish a campaign against HIV & AIDS;
and by placing the accent upon education, prevention, the responsibility of caring for people living with HIV,
the respect of the rights of those affected, the responsibility of caring for widows, orphans,
and those most vulnerable to AIDS.
As it says in Matthew 25:35-36, “for I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
MORAL VALUES:
- To be a model of God's Love to all people, according to God's commandment;
- To involve people living with HIV with HIV/AIDS programs realized by the MLC;
- To cooperate with the government, missionaries, other NGO's, partners, and networks;
- To have sound, transparent management with a competence respectful of the norms.
